The G4-106 is a professional disassembly tool kit engineered for DAF truck Delphi F2, F2D and F2P smart injectors. It supports safe teardown of the injector nozzle, control valve and solenoid components on heavy-duty DAF CF and XF series trucks equipped with PACCAR MX11 and MX13 engines. The kit includes a main holding fixture, locating blocks for F2D, F2P, DAF and F2 injectors, two pressure plates F2P-22 and DAF-21, and the complete base set. Every part sits in a custom foam-lined carry case so the workshop stays organized on the bench or in the service van.
The G4-106 lets a trained technician strip a Delphi F2P smart injector down to its serviceable components without damaging the precision nozzle, the control valve seat or the solenoid body. The holding fixture keeps the injector perfectly aligned while the matching locating block (F2D, F2P, DAF or F2) takes the reaction load off the locating taper during clamp release. Pressure plates F2P-22 and DAF-21 distribute pulling force evenly so the nozzle nut and control valve can be released without cracking the injector housing. After service, the same fixture is used to pre-set spring preload before the injector is reinstalled on the engine.
This tool set is built for DAF trucks running Delphi F2P, F2D and F2 smart injectors on the PACCAR MX engine platform. The most common applications are DAF XF 410, XF 440, XF 460 and XF 510 trucks with MX11 or MX13 engines, and DAF CF series equivalents, in Euro 5 and Euro 6 emission configurations. OEM reference part numbers include the Delphi BEBJ1D02001, BEBJ1D00001, BEBJ1D00002 and BEBJ1D00003 families, together with the DAF cross references 2005596, 1993389, 1972591, 1974030, 1925657, 1952045 and 1871125. Beacon workshop practice also lists the UC-87 main fixture head as the matching pressure block for these injectors.
1. Place the injector into the main holding fixture and lock it on the locating taper.
2. Select the locating block that matches the injector family: F2D, F2P, DAF or F2.
3. Mount pressure plate F2P-22 or DAF-21 according to the body diameter of the injector.
4. Apply controlled torque to release the nozzle nut and the control valve nut.
5. Lift out the nozzle, the control valve and the spring set for cleaning and inspection.
6. Reassemble with a calibrated spring preload and reinstall the injector on the engine.
The fixture geometry is matched to the DAF F2P body, so the technician gets repeatable alignment on every job. The foam-lined case keeps the locating blocks and pressure plates together, which prevents workshop loss of small precision parts. Because the kit covers F2, F2D, F2P and DAF injector families in one case, a single DAF service bay can handle the full DAF PACCAR MX injector workload without swapping tools. The G4-106 is supplied from Beacon Machine workshop tooling stock and is backed by the Beacon technical support line.
Beacon Machine has been supplying professional diesel injector service tooling since the move to electronic common rail systems. The G4-106 joins the wider G4 series, which covers Bosch piezo, Bosch solenoid, Denso, Delphi, Cummins X15 and CAT HEUI injectors. For a complete DAF service workstation, Beacon recommends pairing the G4-106 with the DAF injector removal tool G4-100, the common rail injector tester, and the ultrasonic injector cleaning machine. The G4-106 disassembly tool set is designed for Delphi F2, F2D and F2P smart injectors fitted to DAF CF and XF trucks with PACCAR MX11, MX13 and MX17 engines in Euro 5 and Euro 6 configuration. The most common service workshop applications are the DAF XF 410, XF 440, XF 460 and XF 510 tractors, the DAF CF 85 and CF 75 distribution trucks, and the PACCAR MX engine rebuild bench in heavy-duty engine workshops. The tool is also used in exchange-injector programmes where Delphi BEBJ1D02001, BEBJ1D00001, BEBJ1D00002 and BEBJ1D00003 injectors are stripped and rebuilt before being returned to fleet customers.
In a DAF authorised workshop, the technician uses the G4-106 to release the nozzle nut and the control valve nut on a DAF F2P smart injector, then removes the nozzle, the control valve and the spring set for cleaning and inspection. In an independent truck repair shop, the same fixture is used to change the control valve on a DAF XF truck that has a starting issue or a rough idle complaint, without sending the injector out to a third-party service agent. In a PACCAR engine rebuild shop, the G4-106 is used together with the G4-100 DAF injector removal tool to remove, disassemble, inspect, reassemble and reinstall DAF F2P injectors on a complete MX13 engine rebuild. In a fuel system training centre, the G4-106 is the practical training aid for student technicians learning the disassembly procedure of Delphi F2P smart injectors.
Which injector families does the G4-106 cover? The G4-106 covers the Delphi F2, F2D, F2P and DAF injector families used on the DAF PACCAR MX engine platform. Each injector family has a matching locating block in the foam-lined case.
Which DAF truck engines are supported? DAF PACCAR MX11 and MX13 engines in Euro 5 and Euro 6 configuration are fully supported, and the same fixtures also work on MX17 engines used in the higher horsepower DAF XF tractor models.
Does the G4-106 replace the G4-100? No. The G4-100 is the DAF injector removal tool used to pull the injector out of the cylinder head. The G4-106 is the bench disassembly tool used to strip the injector down to its serviceable components after it has been removed from the engine.
What is the difference between F2, F2D and F2P? F2, F2D and F2P are three generations of Delphi smart injector for the DAF PACCAR MX engine platform. The F2P family is the latest Euro 6 generation, the F2D family is the earlier Euro 6 generation, and the F2 family covers the Euro 5 generation.
Can the G4-106 be used on a Bosch or Denso injector? No. The G4-106 is matched to the body geometry of the Delphi F2P family. Bosch and Denso injectors need the G4-20, G4-23 or other G4 series kits.
Is a torque wrench included? No torque wrench is included in the G4-106 case. Beacon recommends a 1/2 inch digital torque wrench with a 4 to 20 Newton metre range for the nozzle nut and the control valve nut.
Beacon Machine offers remote video diagnostics for DAF F2P injector service work via WhatsApp. Send a short video of the disassembly issue, and a Beacon technical support engineer will guide you through the correct locating block selection, the correct pressure plate mounting, and the correct torque sequence for the nozzle and control valve nuts.
