F200 common rail injector Tester

The F200 is a compact electronic tester built for the electrical side of solenoid common rail injector work. Instead of relying on a full flow bench to judge a nozzle, it drives the injector solenoid with a controlled electromagnetic pulse and lets the technician read the electrical response directly. That makes it a fast first stop when an injector comes in with an unknown fault: open circuit, shorted coil, wrong inductance, or a lazy armature that no longer lifts as it should.
Five functions cover the everyday electrical checks a diesel workshop runs before committing an injector to a full calibration.
Electromagnetic pulse drive — fires the solenoid with a clean, repeatable pulse so the injector can be observed in operation without a fuel circuit.
Intelligent automatic test — runs the standard solenoid test sequence by itself, so a technician does not have to set parameters by hand for every injector.
Arbitrary drive waveform modification — the pulse shape can be edited freely. Pre-charge, hold current and pulse width can be shaped to match what the ECU actually sends, which is what makes response differences visible between two injectors.
Resistance and inductance test — measures coil resistance and inductance. These two values separate a dead solenoid from a mechanically stuck one, and catch the drift that precedes a no-start complaint.
Electromagnetic AHE lift — reads armature lift, the small mechanical travel that decides how much fuel an injector can deliver at a given pulse.
The F200 is not a substitute for a flow bench and is not sold as one. It is the electrical layer that sits in front of it. On a typical Bosch, Denso, Delphi or Siemens solenoid injector, the sequence is: connect the injector, run the automatic test, look at resistance and inductance, edit the drive waveform if the response looks odd, and read the armature lift. If the electrical picture is clean, the injector goes to the flow bench for calibration. If it is not clean, the technician has already found the fault without consuming test oil or bench time.
Because the waveform can be reshaped arbitrarily, it is also useful for training and for comparing a known-good injector against a suspect one on the same pulse. The two responses side by side usually show the problem faster than a pass or fail number does.
The unit is a bench-top control box with a front-panel display, two adjustment knobs and a set of harness adapters for the common solenoid injector connector families. It runs from mains power through the supplied cord. No fuel, no high-pressure line and no compressed air are involved, so it can be used on a clean workbench or taken to the vehicle for a first check.

Beacon Machine Manufacturing Co., Ltd. builds diesel fuel injection test benches, electronic testers and repair tooling for workshops in more than one hundred countries. The F200 belongs to the Beacon electronic instrument range, alongside the common rail injector testers and stroke measuring equipment used in the same workshop.
A few practical points that come up when the F200 is put into service.
The F200 is an electromagnetic tester. It is aimed at solenoid-type common rail injectors, the type used on the great majority of Bosch, Denso, Delphi and Siemens passenger car and light commercial systems. Piezo injectors need a different drive stage and a different tester.
Resistance alone will pass an injector that is electrically tired. Inductance responds to the coil and the magnetic circuit together, so a solenoid with a partly shorted winding or a damaged pole piece reads out of range on inductance while resistance still looks acceptable. Reading both is what makes the electrical diagnosis reliable.
Two injectors of the same part number can respond differently to the same pulse because of wear in the armature and valve group. Editing the waveform lets the technician reproduce the ECU pulse more closely, which exposes that difference instead of hiding it behind a fixed test pulse.
Armature lift falls gradually as an injector wears. Tracking it on injectors that come back for service shows the trend before the injector fails outright, which is useful for fleet maintenance planning.
The F200 is normally paired with a common rail injector test bench for flow and calibration work, and with an LCR bridge or stroke measuring kit when a deeper electrical comparison is needed. Ask us which combination suits the injector families you handle.
